Capacity Determination

The result when you multiply the width and height of your hood in meters is

If it is less than "1.3" , 3,000 m3/h 

If it is less than "2.4" , 6,000 m3/h 

If it is less than "3.6" , 9,000 m3/h 

If it is less than "4.8" , a capacity of 12,000 m3/h  is sufficient. 

Example; 3,000 m3/h Filter system is suitable for hood length 1.7 meters, hood width 0.7 meters, 1.7x0.7= 1.19m2 .

Note:  This calculation method is valid for wall-mounted hoods. Request technical support for the calculation of island hoods.

Stage Selection: Electrostatic filters are used gradually according to the density of smoke and oil vapor. 

The "Dual Stage" option includes two 3,000 m3/h electrostatic filters, and the Three stage option includes three 3,000 m3/h electrostatic filters. 

     Single Stage ; In kitchens where smoke density is very low, such as Doner Restaurant, Succulent Food, Patisserie, Frying House and General Kitchen.

     Double Stage ; In kitchens with medium smoke emissions such as Gas or Electric Grills and Fryers.

     Three Stages; In all kitchens with a charcoal grill. (99.7% smoke filtration is guaranteed.)

Active Carbon Filter; In addition to filtering smoke and oil, Electrostatic Filters also reduce odor by 50%. 

In places where this ratio is not sufficient, an active carbon filter should be used. To be used after the Electrostatic Filter

Odor filtration reaching 87% efficiency is provided with the active carbon filter. 

     Panel Cassette Type; It is used in places where odor intensity is low. It contains less granulated carbon than the cylinder cartridge type. 

                                   The replacement cost is lower. The change period is between 6 months and 1 year. 

     Cylinder Cartridge Type; It is used in places where odor intensity is high.

                                     16 pieces of 400mm for 3,000 m3/h capacity

                                    The long cylinder contains an activated carbon cartridge. The change period is between 6 months and 1 year. 

Aspirator Unit; An aspirator unit is used so that the dirty air collected in the hood can pass through the filter and be discharged to the outside environment. 

If you already have an aspirator system, you can use it in your filter system, provided that it is suitable. You do not need to purchase this option.

     Duct Fan; It is used in hoods not exceeding 2 square meters, in places where the duct system does not exceed 8 meters and in systems that do not contain active carbon.

                          It is low cost and quiet. 

     Cell Aspirator; It is used in hoods over 2 square meters, in systems containing active carbon filters and in places where the duct length exceeds 8 meters.

                                     Thanks to its insulated cell structure, it is silent and vibration-free. It is long lasting and durable. 

UVC Ozone Filter; It is used as an alternative to Active Carbon Filter in places where odor density is low. It destroys odor molecules with the ozone gas it releases. 

                              It eliminates bad odors by breaking down its structure. The change period is approximately 1.5 years. Thanks to its low pressure loss, it can be used with the "Duct Fan". 

Input / Output Reduction ; It is the adapter part required to connect the dirty air inlet and clean air outlet section to the round duct.

                                               When you purchase this option, you can attach the pipes directly to the filter without needing any other parts. 

What is an Electrostatic Filter?

Electrostatic Filter is a filter system that converts electrical energy into static electricity and separates particles such as smoke, oil and dust in the air.  Static Filter can reach 99.8% smoke filtering efficiency thanks to correct project design. It also brings many advantages such as not clogging, can be washed and reused, and low energy consumption.

Does an Electrostatic Filter Filter Odor?

Electrostatic filter  alone is not sufficient to prevent odor. Odor molecules move together with smoke particles in the air. While the Electrostatic Filter captures 99.8% of the smoke particles in the air, it also filters out some odor particles. However, this rate often does not exceed 40-50%. For this reason, an Active Carbon Filter or UVC Ozone Filter must be added to the system.
